The 鶹app at Manchester is excited to host this year's New Hampshire Psychological Association (NHPA) Academic Convention on Saturday, April 22. Bringing together psychology students and faculty from across the state, the event will feature expert speakers, workshops, research presentations, networking and the PsychCup trivia game.
NHPA launched its annual convention in 2009 to provide undergraduate students with a forum to present their research, learn about post-graduation opportunities and network with professionals in the field. To promote interaction and collaboration among psychology students, faculty and professionals, the convention is held at a different New Hampshire college each year.
NHPA's 2017 Academic Convention will take place at UNH Manchester on Saturday, April 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year's speakers include:
- Aaron Nelson, Ph.D., chief of psychology and neuropsychology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, assistant professor at Harvard Medical School and neuropsychology consultant for the Boston Bruins
- Hon. John Broderick, senior director for public affairs at Dartmouth-Hitchcock and former Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court
- Shannon Bader, Ph.D., ABPP, chief of forensic evaluations for the state of New Hampshire
