
UNH researchers will advance research and workforce development in metal-forming technologies, used in transportation, defense, aerospace, household appliances and biomedical industries, as a partner in a new industry-university research center.
, associate dean for research and professor of mechanical engineering, will head UNH’s role in the new , led by The Ohio State University with additional partner Oakland University; assistant professor of mechanical engineering is a co-investigator on the project. The five-year effort is funded with a $1.25 million National Science Foundation grant to UNH, with some of the funds provided by industrial consortium members.
