Fall 2021 B Impact Clinic
Shelly Lancaster was a Wildlife and Conservation Biology Major with aÌýminor in Marine Biology from Louisville, Kentucky. She joined the B Impact Clinic in hopes of using her environmental and wildlife knowledge to promote more sustainable business choices. She participated in a variety of research labs duringÌýherÌýtime atÌýUNH, working on research projects including trace metal uptake in blue mussels to aquaculture studies involving lumpfish, trout, and bass.ÌýHerÌýgoal was to useÌýherÌýeducation and research experiences to mitigate the negative human impacts on the environment and wildlife.ÌýThis was her second semester participating in the B Impact Clinic and her first as a peer mentor,Ìýon the team.
